Behind the scenes…
"Light After Dark" is a lighting design concept that focuses on transforming a space after sunset, enhancing the natural beauty of an environment while providing functional illumination. The concept aims to create a seamless blend of aesthetics and utility, making outdoor spaces, like parks, walkways, or gardens, feel inviting, safe, and magical after the sun goes down.
Sustainable architectural lighting for safer parks
Our group is designing and implementing an innovative architectural lighting structure in the centre of Beaumont Park, Plymouth, to enhance safety, create a welcoming nighttime environment and reduce crime rates in the local area. By integrating solar-powered lighting, we are aiming to create a sustainable and energy-efficient solution that benefits both the community and the environment.
